On Saturday, The Brewers continue their NCEL Premier campaign against Rainworth Miners Welfare. This is The Wrens' first season back in the NCEL Premier since 2009/10 after their relegation from The Northern Premier League. In that 09/10 season, they were runners up in The NCEL Premier behind Bridlington Town.

So far this season they have taken 12 points from 8 games played. Their last 3 league games have been defeats to Clipstone, Pontefract and Handsworth, all at home in an 8 day period. They are currently in 9th place in the table, 11 points behind The Brewers but with 2 games in hand. Worksop Town on Saturday are at home to Maltby Main and Handsworth Parramore are away at Thackley. I will go for a 1-0 win for The Brewers in a close game to keep the title challenge moving forward.
