Taddy Albion make the trip to Worsbrough Bridge Athletic tonight who are currently second in the table having made a very positive start to the season.

Taddy manager Ryan Qualter was full of praise for the hosts, highlighting the impressive standards they have maintained since last season, this is what he said to say ahead of tonight's clash:

"First of all, credit to Worsbrough and their management group and players because they have carried on from last season. They are a very competitive team who play some very good effective football. We will have to go there with the mentality that it will be a battle all over the pitch."

The Brewers travel into the fixture buoyed by an excellent performance and result last weekend, with the squad determined to maintain the standards they produced.

"The lads were delighted with last week's performance and rightly so. They know that the standards we set last week are the levels we want to reach going forward. I also was pleased for them to get a result as in recent weeks we haven’t lost but they felt disappointed we didn’t gain maximum points in those games."

The celebrations after the final whistle showed just how much the result meant to the players and staff. "The scenes at full-time and in the changing room are exactly why we all love being involved in this sport."

Despite that confidence, Ryan is under no illusions about the challenge awaiting his side. Worsbrough's togetherness and attacking style make them a difficult proposition for any opponent.

"Worsbrough will be very difficult to play against. They have a great spirit within their camp and their togetherness is brilliant to see. They will put balls into our box which we will have to defend. They have some excellent players and play front-foot football, which is similar to the way we play."

Preparation has been slightly different this week, with training on Tuesday following their recent schedule, but the session provided another positive step heading into the game.

"Normally we would train twice a week when we don’t have a Tuesday game. However, we trained on Tuesday and it was a really good session ahead of the game, so we are looking forward to a very tough away game."

With both teams looking to play on the front foot, supporters can expect a competitive encounter. Taddy will need to be disciplined, compact and clinical in both boxes if they are to return home with a positive result. and lets face it nothing beats Friday night football under the lights, good luck boys!
