On Saturday afternoon The Brewers travel to the seaside to face Scarborough Athletic in their sixth pre-season friendly, and with the NCEL fixtures released, the season is edging closer.

This will be Albion's second pre-season match against an Evo-Stik Division One North opposition this week so should be another challenging test for the lads.

Scarborough finished last season in sixth place and twenty points behind champions Salford City.

This pre-season they have defeated Barton Town, drawn with Hull United and lost to Thackley and Accrington Stanley.

Athletic start the 2015/16 campaign away from home at New Mills followed by two home matches against Farsley Celtic and Trafford.

The Brewers faced off against Scarborough in 2011 in the FA Cup and it was Taddy who ran out 3-0 winners with goals from Danny Gray (2) and a free-kick from Carl Stewart.
