Where

On Saturday we travel to the magnificent Halton Stadium , built in 1997 for the Widnes Vikings Rugby Club and shared by our opponents Widnes FC

History

The “Whites” were formed in 2003 and were admitted to the North West Counties League Division one in 2012

Colours

Home strip is white shirts , black shorts; away strip - yellow

Management

They are jointly managed by Steve Akrigg and Kevin Towers.

Recent Form

Whites D W L L D - 14th in North West Division - played 8 - 9 points - Goal Difference -3

Brewers W D W W W -3rd in North West Division - played 7 -16 points - Goal difference +11

How to Get There

The Halton Stadium is less than one-mile away from Widnes train station, and less than two miles away from Runcorn train station.
By car, M62 , take Junction 7 and follow dual carriageway towards Widnes and brown signs to Halton Stadium. Take Ashley Way (A562) and 2nd exit off roundabout (McDonald's on the right) and 2nd exit off mini-roundabout into Lowerhouse Lane.
Plenty of car parking is available on the adjacent stadium car park and alternative car parking is available at Riverside College on Caldwell Road - a short walk from the Halton Stadium

Interestingly, if we do not progress in the Buildbase FA Trophy this coming Tuesday we will play Widnes again a week after this match (12th October). If we are victorious against City of Liverpool we will be at home in action against Brighouse Town in the next round of the Cup on that day
