The Brewers return home today after having had a challenging run of fixtures. Their opponents are Winterton Rangers from Scunthorpe who are currently in 18th place of 20 in the table, but are only 3 points behind The Brewers who remain in 10th position.

Rangers had a brief one season last year in the Northern Premier League East as they exchanged leagues with The Brewers. Apart from that season, they have been long term members of the NCEL. Whilst going out of the F.A. Cup to fellow NCEL Team Bottesford Town, they play in the F.A. Vase next weekend at another fellow NCEL team in Beverley Town. In their most recent game, they went down 5-1 at home to Thackley, despite taking an early lead.

This should be a competitive game as both sides need the points to set up a positive season ahead. Winterton are still looking for their first away point of the campaign, whilst Tad have had 3 league wins in 4 games at home.

The game kicks off at 3.00 pm, and, as always, we hope you can attend to support the Brewers as they look to build on Tuesdays improved performance away at high flying Hallam.(1 - 0) The attendance at that game was 502 which we believe is the highest league attendance so far this season.
