The Hillmen have had concerns over one corner of their pitch for a couple of weeks now and therefore arranged a pitch inspection for 10am Saturday morning.
It got to approximately 10:20am on Saturday when the pitch passed an inspection and was deemed fit to play.
With Taddy fans, officials, players and management leaving Yorkshire between 12:00pm and 12:30pm, the game was called off on arrival as the match referee felt that the pitch wasn't fit for action.
"Obviously it isn't ideal but it's just one of those things that you have to deal with" said boss Billy Miller.
"It wasn't the worst thing that could have happened as now this gives the players that we are missing time to recover and return."
A new date for the fixture is to be confirmed.
The Brewers are back in action on Saturday when Goole AFC are the visitors to the i2i stadium.
