Its the Millers v The Brewers This Weekend

On Saturday we travel to Nottingham to play Carlton Town. They will be in blue/yellow shirts with yellow shorts.

The MIllers have played six league matches so far for their seven points and sit in
12th position. Of those matches two have been at home where they have won once and lost the other.

DIRECTIONS

The Bill Stokeld stadium is at Stoke Lane, Gedling, Nottingham NG4 2QS just off the A612 between Nottingham and Burton Joyce. It is fair to say that it’s not the easiest ground to get to, but there is ample parking (generally) once you arrive. Please note there is a “Bus-Plug” on Stoke Lane between Emerys Road and the ground. As such, the only vehicular access route to Stoke Lane for the ground is from the A612. There is no vehicular access from the Burton Road end of Stoke Lane or from Emerys Road. If you drive through the bus plug you can expect a fine so please be careful

The following are suggested routes.

From the M1 (North and South). Leave at junction 26 and follow signs Nottingham A610 for just over two miles to the ring road A6514. Turn left following signs Mansfield (A60) through a number of sets of lights and over two roundabouts. The ring road reaches the A60 shortly after the second roundabout. Get into the second lane and turn left onto A60 (signposted Mansfield, Doncaster) and branch immediately right into the filter lane, turning right at the lights by the Vale pub into Thackarey’s Lane.

Go straight on over the next roundabout onto Arno Vale Road and straight on at the next two sets of lights (up and then down the hill) onto Gedling Road and then Arnold Road. The latter leads into Gedling after a mile or so – follow through Gedling going straight on at the mini-island and following the road around to the right shortly afterwards.

At the next lights turn right (signposted Burton Joyce) and follow the link road to the left before turning left at the next lights onto the A612 (signposted Burton Joyce).
At the next set of lights turn left onto Stoke Lane (signposted CTFC) and the ground is on the right hand side.

From the North via A1. Leave at the junction with the A614 / A57 and follow the A614 (signposted Nottingham) to the junction with the A6097 (signposted Leicester). Follow the A6097 to the roundabout with the A612 and turn right onto the A612 (signposted Burton Joyce, Nottingham).

Follow the A612 through Burton Joyce towards Nottingham and shortly after leaving the village the road branches to the left (the new by-pass). Stay on the A612 and at the next lights turn right onto Stoke Lane and the ground is on the right hand side.
