Tadcaster to Go Digital

We are looking for an Editor to take us forward in the forthcoming season when we hope to implement a digital programme to replace the paper magazine used previously. The position of Programme Editor is voluntary but includes free entry to all home games and match refreshments.

It is a requirement of the Northern Counties East League that all clubs should produce a programme for home league games, in either paper or digital form and we think the time is now right to make the switch. This should enable us to be more up to date with the content, will give Sponsors better coverage and will be both quicker and more economic to produce.

The programme will include;
Details of our opponents, including their players and history
Up to date match reports and action photographs
Details of all our sponsors,
League updates and tables
Articles from the Chairman and First Team Manager
Tadcaster Albion Player profiles

In addition to the league matches we will also have home programmes for FA Vase and FA Cup games as well as the County and League cups.

Once the digital format is agreed, it is anticipated that, as a general rule, the programme will take no more than 4 – 5 hours per game to prepare.

The new procedures will involve very basic IT and proof-reading skills and, of course, an interest in non-league football.

Please feel free to phone our Press and Web Manager, John Clothier, to discuss any items which you feel need clarification .

Applications should be e mailed on or before Saturday 25th May to our Chairman, Andy Charlesworth (tad.albionjfc_sec@btinternet.com)
