The Brewers look in this game to build on their two recent hard won home victories against Golcar United and Rossington Main which have put them back into the play off mix. The two clean sheets have made the wins even better.
After the games in midweek, The Brewers are in the play off positions on goal difference, though Sheffield below them have a number of games in hand. As boss Ryan said in a recent BBC Radio York interview, it's in our hands as a number of our outstanding games are against promotion rivals.
The away game at Penistone Church back in August was a win for The home team as they beat The Brewers 2-1. The Brewers will hope to even that up with a home victory. Penistone Church played at home to Knaresborough Town on Wednesday and they drew 3-3 with both teams getting very late goals. This left them 13 points behind The Brewers in the table in 10th place, having played 2 games more.
Our next game is away at Thackley on Wednesday evening and this is quickly followed up next Saturday with another away trip at Wombwell Town. Taddy are soon to be on the road for four games. We are next at home on March 21st.
All to play for.
