This Saturday we travel down to Scunthorpe for the first meeting this season between the “Brewers” and the “Poachers”

Our opponents have spent the last the last nine seasons in the NCEL Premier and before that another nine in Division One. They have played seven games so far in this campaign with a total of seven points and a league position of 18th.

Last season we kicked off our season at home to Bottesford with a good 3 – 0 win, goals courtesy of Andrew, Knowles, and Alfie Dean. By the time the return match came round in late November, things had really changed with Bottesford in a resounding win 5 – 3, our goals coming from two for Elliot Andrew and the other from Cassius-Gill.

At the end of the season Bottesford were one place above us at the wrong end of the table.
