On Saturday afternoon, The Brewers take on Pickering Town in their penultimate home league game of the season. A really exciting prospect as we push hard for the play off positions. Three wins from three would get us in there guaranteed, a big ask though as all three games are against top eight sides. That said, our main competition Campion also have some tricky games ahead, like away at Penistone and at home to Champions Liversedge, so maybe less points will be needed.

In the game at Pickering back in October 2025, we had a convincing 3-0 victory with goals from Alex Clark, Charlie Owen and Miguel Cassama. The Pikes have had a good season and are nine points behind us with 2 games in hand. They have finished the last two seasons in 19th place and 10th, so progress is being made by them. In the form table, in the last 6 games, we have taken 14 points compared to their 12, so two teams in form.

One last push for the team now with a trip to Sheffield next weekend, followed by a home game against Handsworth on the last day of the season. All to play for.
