The Brewers will try to cement their position at the top of the NCEL Premier table at home to our neighbours Knaresborough on Saturday. Knaresborough have had a good start to the season. On Tuesday evening they played at home to Bottesford Town and drew 2-2. This means that they are now in 7th place with 8 points from 4 games played, a tough game for The Brewers. This means that they are 7 points behind us, with 2 games in hand, a proper 6 pointer.

Last season, the game between the 2 teams at Tadcaster was won 3-0 by the visitors whilst the away game back in September ended in a 4-0 win for Knaresborough. They took 49 points from their 38 games played to finish in 12th place.

Great to have the Tadcaster Albion Ladies team with us on Saturday. They start their West Yorkshire League campaign on Sunday September 7th. Please give their games a try as it's a good family afternoon out. Good Luck Ladies for your campaign. They also have friendlies at home for their first team and reserve teams this Sunday between Noon and 4pm.

On Thursday evening, Tadcaster Albion under 18s play at home against Liversedge in the F.A. Youth Cup, Adults £3. Busy week at the ground.

Finally, Tuesday evening, we are away in the NCEL at Barton Town.
