The Brewers have their 2nd home league game in 4 nights on Friday evening as they welcome Golcar United to The Young Guns Arena. They will be looking to build on their hard won 2-0 victory on Tuesday evening against Rossington Main. Another win on Friday will put us in the thick of the play off campaign.
In the game away at Golcar back in December, we earned a 1-1 draw with our goal coming from Desmond Okoro. The Weavers are having a good season to date and are currently in 16th place in the table, but only 5 points away from the top ten. In the form table, they have taken 8 points from the last 6 games, compared to The Brewers 9 points. In their last 2 games, they have had 2 wins and scored 9 times, 3 of them from the prolific Ashley Flynn. So it should be a very competitive game.
On the same evening, Sheffield and Barton Town play in a play off battle, 4th v 5th. The league table will make interesting reading on Saturday evening. Our next game is on Saturday the 28th at home to Penistone Church. I hope to see you at the games as the excitement builds.
