The Brewers head towards near Wakefield on Saturday afternoon to resume their league campaign after recent days off. In the game at Tadcaster back in August, The Brewers came out winners with a 3-0 victory due to an Olly Green hat trick.

Horbury Town are in the NCEL Premier league for the first time after promotion last season. They are having a battle this season and currently are in 17th place with 21 points from 22 games played. They are going well recently with 4 wins in their last 6 league games, plus they beat Sheffield in the league Cup.

In midweek, leaders Liversedge were playing at Eccleshill United and dropped 2 points in a 1-1 draw. This leaves us 9 points behind them and they have a game in hand. That said, we are well in the play off positions and it is all to play for.

Our next home game is on Saturday 20th at home to inform Frickley Athletic.
