The Brewers look to move on from Christmas with the short trip to play Goole AFC. In the league game at Tadcaster back in August, The Brewers had their biggest win of the season with a 6-0 victory in front of a crowd of 232. Luca Bolino hit a first half hat trick, with the other goals coming from Elliott Andrew, Alfie Dean ( Now at Ilkley ) and Junayd Cassius-Gill.

The teams also met back in October in the West Riding County Cup first round. The Vikings were much improved and it needed 2 very late goals from Jordan Hines with a penalty kick and a second from Ethan Kachosa ( now at Pickering ) to win the game.

Last season , the teams played out a 3-3 draw at Tadcaster with both teams scoring very late goals. The Brewers went down 2-0 in the game away at Goole.

Goole are currently bottom of the NCEL Premier with 9 points from 24 games, 18 points behind the Brewers. Last weekend, they were defeated 6-1 at home by Campion in front of a crowd of 99.This was their seventh league defeat in a row. This puts them bottom also of the form table, with The Brewers 14th by that measure. They have taken 7 of their 9 points earned this season at home

A good opportunity for The Brewers to get another positive result, but Goole really need the points so will be dangerous opponents.
