Taddy on the Road.

The Brewers will be looking to build on their recent 3 game winning run after their battling West Riding Cup Quarter Final 1-0 victory at home to Harrogate Railway. In the Semi final of the competition, they will travel to Barnoldswick Town which is West of Skipton.

The Lions of Albion Sports have had a tough season to date. They currently are in 18th place, just one place out of the relegation zone. They have played a few more games than the team below them, Rossington Main, so they are in a relegation battle. They have been in this league since 2013. Their average home attendance this season is 140 which is well up on last season due to their move to a new home ground.

In the home game against Albion Sports back in September, it ended as a 2-2 draw thanks to a last minute equaliser by Ollie Norman. They have been beaten in their last two games away at play off contenders Beverley Town and Handsworth Town. The lowest point of their season must have been back in December at Sheffield where they went down 10-2 after taking the lead early on !

The Brewers are well in the playoff mix and there are only 12 regular season games to play after this game, so there is all to play for in the game on Saturday. Remember that we are at home on Tuesday evening in a league game against fellow play off contenders Barton Town in a rearranged game after the recent match postponement.
