The Brewers hopefully return home to league action on Tuesday evening hoping to build on last week's hard won point in a 1-1 draw away at Golcar United. Their goal was scored late on by Des Okoro as they came back from being 1-0 down at half time.

This game is being played on Tuesday evening due to Rossington Main playing in the F.A. Vase on Saturday afternoon at home against West Didsbury & Chorlton. They exited the competition as they were beaten 3-0.

So far in the league this season, Rosso have had a tough time and are currently just one place out of the relegation zone with 18 points from 19 games played. The two teams have already played once at Rossington where The Brewers came out on top 1-0 with a late goal from Oli Johnson. In February this year, we also won 1-0 at home to Rossington with a goal just before half time by James Knowles.

The results at the weekend left The Brewers in 4th place in the NCEL Premier table. Handsworth had a 2-1 win at home to Golcar United, whilst Sheffield went down 2-1 at Campion. The teams in the play off race have all played a different number of games, so they need to resolve themselves to get a true view. Liversedge at the top really do look like they are in prime position. We are the only one of the chasing pack to play this midweek , so it is a chance to make progress in our campaign.
