The Brewers play their rearranged NCEL game against Knaresborough Town on Tuesday evening. Both teams will be looking to bounce back after away defeats at the weekend. The Brewers went down 3-2 at Campion whilst Knaresborough went down to a 1-0 defeat at Eccleshill United in front of a crowd of 43. The Brewers go into the game in 17th place, just 3 points behind Knaresborough who are in 13th place.

The game at Knaresborough back in September saw The Brewers go down 4-0. Last season at Tadcaster saw The Brewers winning 3-2 after being 3-0 up at half time. In the game at Knaresborough, a late home goal equalised to make it a 1-1 draw after Jordan Hines had given us a lead in the 14th minute. Last season, Knaresborough Town finished the season in 8th position compared to The Brewers 13th place finish.

The teams at the bottom of the league picked up points at the weekend with Winterton Rangers getting a shock 2-0 win at leaders Silsden. Goole picked up a point at Frickley. The Brewers are now 14 points clear of the drop zone with just 7 games left to play. On Saturday, we are away at Handsworth quickly followed on the Tuesday with another away trip to Albion Sports in Bradford. Our next home game is on Friday March 14th when we play Albion Sports again with a 7.45pm kick off.
