Tomorrow we travel to Liverpool for our first ever match against City of Liverpool FC, this time in the Extra Preliminary Round of the Buildbase FA Trophy

The “Purps” are one of the newest teams in non-league football starting in 2016/17 in the North West Counties League. Their progression has been outstanding!

Three seasons later they have already managed two promotions and three cup wins as they embarked on this campaign in the Northern Premier North West Division.

The Club currently ground shares at Bootle’s TDP Solicitors Stadium

They are managed by Craig Robinson who had a distinguished playing career with Blackpool and Morecambe and in non-league with Droylsden and Warrington

They are 16th in the League with 7 points from 7 games with a goal difference of +1
