We are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper James Hodges from Hyde United.

With Michael Ingham away with the i2i International Soccer Academy this week, Taddy were forced to source a goalkeeper for Saturday’s match against Stamford.

As the Brewers have a good relationship with Darren Kelly at Hyde, plus the link of former players Paddy Miller and Harry Coates, the availability of number two James Hodges was made clear resolving the short-term problem.

The Manchester born stopper started out at Chester FC’s Academy before going on to make 13 appearances for the Tigers picking up two Player of the Match awards.

We would like to pass on our thanks to Darren Kelly at Hyde for making the deal possible at such short notice.

Taddy welcome Stamford to the i2i Stadium tomorrow (3pm) looking to keep their spot in the Evo-Stik East play-off places.
