We Are Delighted to announce the Arrival of Andrew and Albert both having Recovered from Ruptured ACL's

Andrew Shepherd Centre Midfield

Centre Midfielder Andrew would have joined Taddy a year ago had it not been for a ruptured ACL in his final game under Mick O’Connell whilst playing for Harrogate Railway. The incident occurred in March 2023 at Rossington and to quote “it has been a frustrating recovery period since the operation in July last year”.

The thirty-two year old started his senior soccer career with his home town Northern League team Northallerton where he stayed until 2021 when he joined “The Rail”

Towards the end of the last campaign, he helped in the dugout whilst Josh Walsh was away but is now well on the way now to full fitness . Described by Mick as a combative midfielder and a natural leader, Andrew cannot wait for the start of the new season.

Albert Ibrahimi - Striker

Albert (younger brother of Fatlum) joins us at last having also missed the entire last season due to a torn ACL plus cartilage/meniscus damage and then the long road to recovery.
24-year-old Albert was born in Harrogate where he still lives.

His career began with two seasons at Guiseley in the under eighteens but with some outings for the first team. He then signed for Bradford City but having become disillusioned with the game following a change of management, moved to Southern USA to study.

Since his return he has played for Thackley and Pontefract but it was a move to Harrogate Railway which really re-ignited his love for the game. Albert is a striker but a versatile player who is happy to play anywhere up front or the centre of the park.

Taddy welcomes (at last) both players who join in good time for the start of the new season
