Born in Harrogate, he came through the junior ranks with Beckwithshaw Saints, Harrogate Railway Juniors and Pannel Ash and in 2022 represented England Under 18’s Schoolboys in the Centenary Shield.

His senior career started in the Harrogate Town Academy where he worked with Josh Walsh “He was a very good technical player with a good level of understanding of the game – he wanted to be on the ball and unlock defences”.

For the last two seasons Alfie has played regularly for Ilkley Town (Step 6) where he has developed his game. He is an attacking mid fielder with a preference for the left side and has jumped at the opportunity to join Taddy. “I am really looking forward to playing at a higher level with a club as big as Tadcaster.
