Starlet Stewart Shines Again
Tadcaster Albion advance into the First Qualifying Round of the FA Youth Cup after comfortably dispatching Brighouse Town.
After a flurry of missed opportunities, The Brewers did deservedly take the lead on the half hour mark as Casey Stewart drove down the right-hand channel, bared down on goal and fired past George Clarke at the near post.
Taddy went into the break 1-0 up after being in complete control in all areas of the pitch.
The second half only got better for Tad's rising stars as Stewart doubled his tally for the evening, and in some style too.
The effervescent attacker raced in on goal and had the confidence/audacity to chip it over the hapless Brighouse goalkeeper.
The tie was more or less over fifteen minutes from time as Casey Stewart completed his hat-trick.
After brilliantly turning his man, Stewart then thundered in his third of the night from 25 yards.
The visitors pulled a consolation goal back in the 84th minute as Tom Calvert swept coolly into the far corner.
But it was The Brewers who had the final say rounding off the victory with a fourth goal.
Casey Stewart this time turned provider feeding in substitute Charley Birley who impressively guided into the bottom left-hand corner.
