The Evo-Stik North league leaders are in town on Saturday with Michael Morton’s side looking to upset the odds and bounce back.
Taddy come into the tough contest on the back of suffering successive league defeats for the first time since the start of November.
Both of which have been extremely small margins however; firstly an individual error in the snow storm at Trafford and then two late late goals at Prescot in the week.
The Brewers now have three consecutive home games against three of the top four; Hyde, Bamber Bridge and Scarborough so things aren’t getting any easier as we enter the business end of the season.
The visitors Hyde currently sit top of the pile on 71 points but they have played two games more than second place South Shields who are ready to pounce being just two points behind.
In the first meeting between the two clubs at Ewen Fields back at the beginning of December, Aiden Savory gave the Brewers an early lead before the home side ran out 4-1 winners.
A win for the Brewers on Saturday could see them jump back up into the play-off places if other results go in their favour.
Team News: Harry Sheppeard likely to return at right-back after given a rest on Tuesday night. New loan signings Ellis Barkworth and Will Annan could make their debuts. Fraser Papprill a doubt. Andy Milne, Jake Rose, Josh Greening and Adam Baker remain side-lined.
