On Saturday the Brewers welcome Kendal Town to the i2i Stadium looking to put Tuesday night’s shock defeat at Goole well and truly behind them.
Taddy have found it difficult away from the i2i so far this season therefore boss Michael Morton will be expecting a reaction back at home, and not for the first time.
Albion have won three out of their opening four league games at home with the visitors Kendal being victorious once on the road.
The Mint Cakes will make the long journey to Yorkshire on a high after beating Ramsbottom United 2-1 on Tuesday evening.
Taddy will come into the match on the other end of the spectrum though after a somewhat lacklustre defeat at Goole in midweek.
A response is most definitely needed, and an impressive one at that. However having said that, three points for the Brewers could potentially see them jump back up into the play-off places, or certainly in the play-off picture so it is still very early days, it’s a long old season remember.
The danger man for Kendal has to be Robert Bowman who, like Aiden Savory, has six goals to his name in these early stages. Both of whom are one goal off the league top scorer Astley Mulholland of Colwyn Bay.
Team News: Josh Barrett expected to return to the starting line-up. Michael Ingham remains out, Danny Frost is doubtful but Corey Roper, Pete Davidson and Tom Corner may return.
