Goals in either half from Alex Varley and Marcus Edwards helped the Vikings pick up their first points of the season.
Taddy boss Michael Morton made just one change from the comeback win over Colne as Sam Akeroyd replaced the injured Corey Roper.
They were however still without key players Michael Ingham, Danny Frost and Tom Corner through injury but did start reasonably positive.
Cam Murray and Josh Greening both saw their optimistic early efforts fly harmlessly off target.
Goole, who had only scored three goals before the match, netted their fourth after quarter of an hour.
Steve Jeff’s corner was delicately flicked on by Sam Colbear and unexpectedly bounced off the head of Alex Varley into the ground as the ball somehow found the back of the net with Josh Grant unable to clear off the post.
The home side were certainly the better team in the firsty forty five, they were clearly determined and fired up to get their first points of the season.
Albion never got going or really looked like causing Goole problems, but they did go close with one effort four minutes from the break.
Alex Varley’s miscued header sprung up into the air and top scorer Aiden Savory sent a sweet left-foot volley on target but Goole keeper Ben Saynor did well to push over the mark.
Taddy may have almost found themselves level, but they were almost two behind on the stroke of half-time.
Albion completely switched off from their own free-kick and were caught out at the back as Scott Smith sprung the offside trap, raced clean through on goal with just Louis Jones to beat, to which he did but struck the wrong side of the upright.
Half-Time: Goole 1-0 Taddy
As expected after the half-time interval, The Brewers came out with greater urgency. They produced their best moment of the match five minutes in as they were denied by the woodwork.
Josh Greening cut inside former teammate Steve Jeff before curling a cross/shot onto the base of the post and Aaron Hardy’s follow-up was well kept out by Saynor.
It was at this point where you start to think, it’s not going to be Tad’s night.
They did continue to probe the Vikings though, the pressure applied slowly started to increase somewhat.
Greening was the player threatening once more after dribbling inside, skipping beyond Smith and striking a decent low shot but Saynor read it well.
For all of the territory and pressure in the second half, Albion were limited to very few chances as Goole defended impeccably.
And their spirited performance granted them a second goal in the 81st minute which all but sealed the points for the home side.
It came from another corner kick to which Goole had been causing problems from all night. Andy Milne did well to head off the line but the ball was soon flying past him as Marcus Edwards volleyed ferociously into the back of the net.
As disappointing as Taddy were, Goole deserve great credit for their performance and we wish them all the best for the rest of the season.
