On Saturday The Brewers make the trip back to Sandy Lane but this time to take on ground owners and fellow title contenders Handsworth Parramore.
Taddy go into the game looking to get back to winning ways after the eventful 4-4 draw against Albion Sports at home last week. The Brewers will be looking to rectify letting a 4-2 lead slip however it certainly will not be an easy contest against a strong Handsworth Parramore side who are in real contention of the title.
The Ambers currently sit in 3rd place in the NCEL Premier Division, six points off Worksop Town and Tadcaster however they hold two games in hand over The Tigers and four games in hand over The Brewers.
Ones to watch: Jon Froggatt and Kieran Wells. The two main men for Parramore are the front men, netting a combined 31 goals already this season.
Looking at The Ambers’ goal statistics, they tend to fly out of the blocks scoring the vast majority of their goals in the first fifteen minutes therefore if Taddy can keep it tight for the first 20 minutes and possibly knick a goal then they will be on their way to a positive result.
In the two meetings last season it was Taddy who in fact came out on top taking four points off The Ambers. A Hat-Trick in the final 18 minutes from Josh Greening saw The Brewers win 3-0 at Sandy Lane last season whereas the contest at the i2i stadium was a thrilling 3-3 draw.
JT Predicts: Handsworth Parramore 1-2 Tadcaster Albion – Nick Black and Josh Greening to make it another happy trip to Sandy Lane.
