On Saturday The Brewers make the trip to the ever improving Cleethorpes Town.
Taddy go into the game full of confidence on the back of their biggest win of the season so far, seeing off Worksop Town 2-1 at Sandy Lane on Wednesday night courtesy of two brilliant goals from Nick Black and Jason Mycoe.
Cleethorpes however will be going into the game slightly down on confidence after being beaten 2-0 at home to Barton Town Old Boys on Wednesday night which sees The Swans overtake The Owls in the table. This defeat was The Owls’ first in the month of October winning all four previous games against Thackley, Parkgate, Bottesford and Pontefract respectively.
Before Wednesday night’s loss, Cleethorpes battered Pontefract Collieries away from home 6-0.
Ones to watch: Definitely Marc Cooper and Brody Robertson are the danger men, Cooper is on 16 goals for the season whereas Robertson sits three behind on 13 so goals aren’t usually a problem for Cleethorpes.
Dark Horse: Luke Mascall certainly, he seems to be popping up with a few important goals of late.
In the two meetings last season it was Cleethorpes who came out on top, winning 3-0 at the i2i Stadium in December followed by a 3-2 win at Bradley Road.
JT Predicts: Cleethorpes Town 1-2 Tadcaster Albion - Black and Beadle to keep Taddy in top spot.
