Tadcaster Albion welcome National League neighbours Guiseley to Ings Lane with a cup semi-final spot up for grabs.
The Brewers are looking to go one better in this year’s West Riding County Cup after the defeat on penalties to Farsley Celtic back in April.
Michael Morton’s side come into the contest fresh, maybe too fresh you could say after two and a half weeks without a match due to the deteriorating weather conditions.
Opponents Guiseley last won the competition back in 2012 when they saw off Thackley 4-2 after extra-time.
The Lions are having a tough campaign so far in the National League as they currently sit 23rd in the fifth tier having won three out of twenty two.
The Leeds based side were due to play their FA Trophy tie away at Gateshead on Tuesday night but that fell to the freezing temperatures for a second time which saw the fixture rearranged for tonight instead.
This of course means that it will now be a predominantly youthful squad that Guiseley bring with the FA Trophy a priority.
Both sides will be gunning for a victory though simply to try and build some momentum ahead of a busy festive period.
Team News: Andy Milne and Sam Akeroyd are both suspended. U21 players Casey Stewart, Donald Chimalilo and Harry Sheppeard will be pushing for a start.
