The Final Three

By Jay Taylor

With another campaign drawing to a close next weekend, here’s how the Brewers finish the 2018/19 season over the Easter period.

This coming Saturday Taddy welcome relegation threatened Gresley to the i2i Stadium looking to keep the pressure on those above them in the hope that there’s a slip-up somewhere. The visitors from Derbyshire may be bottom of the Evo-Stik East but following AFC Mansfield’s relegation, this means that only the club that finishes in 20th will actually go down. There’s just two points separating themselves and Carlton Town so they will no doubt be going all out for the victory.

As ever on Easter weekend, it’s a quick turnaround for all with fixtures on Bank Holiday Monday as Tad play their final away match of the season. The Brewers make the short journey to Pickering Town aiming to get one over on their local rivals after the 1-0 Boxing Day defeat.

And finally, to conclude the campaign, Albion host Lincoln United on Saturday 27th April with the awards presentation taking place after the fixture.

We hope to see lots of you at all three games supporting the lads for the run in!
