With another campaign drawing to a close, Sunday night saw all clubs in the East, West & Premier Divisions come together to celebrate the outstanding performers in the 2018/19 season.

The first major award of the night saw top goalscorer Joe Lumsden just miss out on the Evo-Stik League NPL Show Supporters Award to Radcliffe FC’s Tunde Owolabi. Finishing runner-up is still a tremendous achievement for Albion’s marksman who is currently on 23 goals for the season.

Next on the agenda was the Evo-Stik East Team of the Season which is voted by the management of each club. Taddy saw two players named in the eleven; defender Harry Coates and striker Joe Lumsden were both named in their debut seasons at the club. Only two clubs had two players make the vote; Morpeth Town and Tadcaster Albion.

The Brewers weren’t finished there though as it was later announced that Joe Lumsden was also named in the starting eleven of the NPL Show Media Team of the season in a front three with Tunde Owolabi and Colne’s rising young talent Alex Curran.
