New signing Corey Roper is confident that Monday's spirited comeback against Brighouse will stand them in good stead for Saturday.

"I have had to be patient with my International clearance coming through and it's been frustrating, however I've got to keep working hard and impressing the management team."

"It was a mad game on Bank Holiday Monday, I enjoyed it and thankfully we came through with the three points."

"It was a mad first half, we couldn't get a foot-hold in the game. 10 minutes gone, 2-0 down, Milney on his back and I can't remember having a kick. Savs came on and sured things up and gave us our shape back. The Gaffa and Si had a few choice words at half-time and we had to go for it in the second half, getting nothing from the game was not an option."

"The keeper getting sent off obviously helped however, we knew if we got one back we could go on to win the game. The team sprit and quality shone through in the end."

"The win was massive for us, the fans were great on Monday, to be fair they have been great all season."

"It goes without saying that we need another three points on Saturday. Monday's second half performance should see us going into the game brimming with confidence."
