On Saturday Tadcaster Albion welcome Kendal Town to the i2i stadium as they look to remain in the play-off places in the Evo-Stik Division One North.

Taddy go into the match on the back of a 0-0 draw at Goole on Tuesday night.

A point away from home in midweek would normally be a good result, but I’m sure The Brewers will be somewhat disappointed that they didn’t come away with all three after hitting the woodwork twice and squandering several clear cut chances in the second half.

With that being said, it is still a respectable point and it extended the unbeaten league run to five games.

Kendal are also coming into the contest on the back of a draw, but will surely feel somewhat disappointed after throwing the lead away twice away at Droylsden.

Kendal currently sit in 10th place in the Evo-Stik Division One North with five wins, three draws and five losses after 13 games played.
Kendal’s record on the road has been inconsistent; winning 2, drawing two and losing two.

Oliver Wood has four goals in his last four outings for Town and will be looking to keep up his goal scoring tally on Saturday.

At the other end, Tom Corner is the hit man for Taddy netting seven goals for the season so far.

A win for The Brewers today could potentially see them rise to second place if other teams fail to pick up points.

Team News: Number one Michael Ingham is a doubt after injuring his foot in the midweek draw at Goole. Defender Gregg Anderson is also a doubt after missing Tuesday night with a leg injury.
