Tonight we welcome Trafford to the i2i stadium looking to get back to winning ways.

Saturday saw The Brewers draw one a piece with Brighouse Town in a game which could have easily been a win if it wasn’t for an inspired goalkeeper and some unconvincing finishing. Josh Greening and Adam Baker both squandered good chances to seal a first league victory since 12th November away at Ossett Albion.

Taddy currently sit 12th in the Evo-Stik Division One North five points off the play-off places but three points this evening could see them move up to sixth. That’s the nature of this league; a couple of wins and you are right up there whereas a couple of defeats can see you drift downwards.

Trafford have made an exceptional start to the season recording 29 points from 17 and have games in hand on others around them.

A win for the Manchester based side could see them jump just two points behind current leaders Scarborough Athletic and Glossop North End.

Gregg Anderson and Josh Barrett have been tremendous at the back for The Brewers recently and they will have to be at their very best this evening if they are to keep the division’s top scorer Aaron Burns quiet who has notched an excellent 18 goals.

Team News: Goalkeeper Michael Ingham remains out. Tom Corner is a doubt and Andy Milne is still away on a work trip. Carl Stewart is available for selection and could start after re-signing from Scarborough Athletic on Monday evening.
