The Brewers look to maintain their excellent record on the road this weekend with a first ever trip to Spalding United.

Taddy boast the best away record in the division having won five out of seven and after a confidence boosting victory over Stamford at the i2i last week, momentum is well and truly on their side.

Spalding however come in to Saturday’s clash on the back of successive 3-0 defeats to Lincoln and Pontefract respectively so will no doubt be gunning for a reaction in front of their home fans. They have only recorded two wins to date this season but have drawn half of their matches meaning that a winning run has been close on occasions.

The Tulips currently sit 17th in the Evo-Stik East with a win on Saturday offering the chance to rise as high as 13th. Albion on the other hand are looking to make it eight unbeaten in the league and close the gap on second place Lincoln. Simon Collins’ side are five points behind with two-games in-hand and to play them in a fortnights time.

Team News: Michael Ingham to return in goal after a week away in the states with the i2i International Soccer Academy. Aiden Savory may come back in after being favoured to start away from home.
