On Saturday The Brewers welcome Droylsden to the i2i stadium as they look to put last week’s FA Trophy defeat behind them.

As mentioned above, The Brewers bowed out of the FA Trophy last week with a 2-0 defeat at Glossop North End. The two sides met recently in the league with Taddy coming out on top on that occasion but the Hillmen bit back and gained revenge with a cup victory.

The Brewers have made a very positive start to their first ever season in the Evo-Stik sitting in 4th place with 17 points. A win for Billy Miller’s men could see them rise up as high as second if other results go their way.

Droylsden have made an indifferent start to the season winning two, drawing four and losing five as they sit in 18th.

The Bloods are coming into the contest also on the back of an FA Trophy defeat. On Saturday Droylsden travelled to Lancaster City and Joshua Heaton’s first-half equaliser earnt them a replay. The second meeting in four days between the two teams saw Lancaster advance with a 3-1 away victory.

Taddy will go into the game as sleight favourites as they are yet to be beaten at home in the league but Droylsden will be looking for their second away triumph of the season.

Team News: Gregg Anderson is likely to return to the side after missing the defeat at Glossop. Adam Baker may make his first start since returning from holiday. And Jimmy Beadle is a doubt with a back injury.
