Following his sending off at Frickley on Saturday, Joe Lumsden will miss the final three games of the season due to suspension.

The straight red card dismissal is a three-game ban and unfortunately with only three games left of the 2018/19 campaign, Lumsden’s debut season with the Brewers has come to an early end.

The former Stocksbridge Park Steels front man has had an outstanding first year with Taddy though netting 23 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions. There have been several strikes that will live long in the memory including that outrageous chip at Bamber Bridge, the pearler against Marske and the double megs against Frickley to name just a few.

Lumsden’s goals has seen him pick up many awards across the course of the season including Player of the Month for August and September, Goal of the Month for August, September, December and February as well as being voted in the Evo-Stik East League Team of the Season and runner-up in the Supporters Award.

It’s fair to say that the striker has made an excellent impression on all at TAFC and we hope to secure his services again for 2019/20.
