Midfielder Moves On

By Jay Taylor

TAFC can today confirm that Mitch Langton has agreed to join fellow Evo-Stik East side Stocksbridge Park Steels.

The former Hull City youngster never quite became a regular in Tadcaster's first-team and has decided to move on elsewhere to gain regular football.

Langton joined the Brewers from Goole back in February and went on to make eleven appearances in the final few months of the season, four of which being starts. The creative midfielder got more of an opportunity at the beginning of the 2017/18 season starting four games and featuring on nine occasions.

"I've enjoyed every minute of it and Tadcaster and I wish the club all the best for the season" said Langton.

We would like to thank Mitch for his efforts and wish him all the very best for the future.
