Good evening everyone and welcome to the i2i stadium for tonight’s West Riding County Cup match against Silsden.

We hope Danny and his staff enjoy their stay and have a safe journey home afterwards.

Tonight gives us a great chance to get a win under our belts and progress into the last four of a competition but let’s not get ahead of ourselves, Silsden won’t by any means just turn up and roll over.

Looking back at Saturday’s defeat to Colne I thought the performance was once again an okay performance, there’s just something that isn’t quite there at the moment.

If we were getting outplayed week in week out and not creating chances I’d be really worried but we’re not.

When you take Michael Ingham, Gregg Anderson, Andy Milne, Tom Corner, Rob Youhill and Conor Sellars out of any team – that is one huge chunk that holds a vast amount of experience.

This is the first big major challenge for the club in the 18 months that I’ve been here and we will all work extremely hard to put it right, but we have to keep trusting each other and stick together.

Thank you for all of your support!

Keep it up!

The Management
