As we enter the business stage of the season, we caught up with first-team coach Nathan Kilby to get his thoughts on the race for play-offs.

9 points out of 9 is obviously our aim
- Nathan Kilby - First Team Coach

The Brewers take on Stocksbridge, Wisbech and Spalding in their next three and Kilby believes these fixtures are pivotal.

“They are very important without a doubt, we have just come off the back of two wins so everyone involved wants to keep that going now.”

“With the squad we have there is no reason why we can’t win the next three games. At the moment everyone around us seems to be winning which makes the next three games vital if we want to secure a play-off place come the end of the season.”

“9 points out of 9 is obviously going to be our aim, at the start of the season this is where we wanted to be at this stage of the campaign. There is a great mix of youth and experience in the squad and everyone shares the same aim.”

“The feel around the changing room and at training is good and has been all season, so I don’t see any reason for not getting maximum points.”

“We have also got one eye on our average points with the new structure in place so 9 points will only help towards that as well.”

The squad are back in training this evening and Kilby insists there won’t be one main focus.

“I think at this stage of the season it’s a case of just keeping things ticking over with a few tweaks here and there. They are a great bunch of lads, they listen and take everything on board whilst training and at a great intensity too, me and Si can’t ask for any more than that.”

Taddy travel to Stocksbridge Park Steels on Saturday looking to make it three wins on the bounce, email info@tadalbion.com if you would like to book a seat on the bus leaving at 12:45pm
