Goalkeeper Louis Jones signed on loan from Doncaster Rovers this week and kept a clean sheet on his debut.

The signing comes after Michael Ingham was ruled out of action for 6-8 weeks, but coming from a Sky Bet League One side, Jones is certainly a safe pair of hands.

"I'm extremely happy to have joined the club" said Jones.

"I know that Taddy are one of the best teams in this league and I want to help push for the top and perform better each game."

Jones didn't have the kindest of debuts away at Mossley on a Tuesday night in the torrential rain but nevertheless he still would not be beaten.

"I enjoyed my debut, all the boys made me feel very welcome."

"I learnt a lot about the team from just this one game, there's great character and determination in the team which goes a long way."

Jones will make his first appearance at the i2i Stadium on Saturday when Colne are the visitors.

"I'm excited to play at the i2i stadium as I've heard that the pitch is top quality and the fans are too so hopefully I can perform well and we can get the win!"
