Wendy Ormsby, mum of Taddy legend Liam, is running the 26 miles later this month to raise funds for York Speakability Group which is part of the stroke association for people with Aphasia - language-loss following a stroke, head injury or other neurological condition.
Wendy is doing this for husband and Leeds United legend Brendon who suffers with aphasia and seizures after having a stroke almost five years ago.
This will be Wendy's first ever marathon and she has trained hard over the last two months to prepare for the tough but rewarding challenge.
You can donate by clicking >>>> HERE or you can donate at Albion's home game against Loughborough on Tuesday evening on the gate, there will be collection buckets available.
