Good evening and welcome to the i2i stadium for a West Riding County Cup Quarter-Final tie against Silsden.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all of the players, fans and officials of Silsden.

First of all we are looking forward to tonight’s cup tie which hands us a real chance of reaching the last four. It may not be a priority but a trophy is a trophy and we are out to win it.

Looking back on Saturday it felt like Groundhog Day again. The performance was again a good performance, we should have gone two goals clear in the first half but when things aren’t quite going for you things become twice, sometimes three times as hard to execute.

We were pleased with Erico Sousa and Chandler Hallwood who both made their debuts on Saturday. Chandler, who has just dropped out of the professional game, showed his class and confidence with some assertive handling and impressive distribution.

Erico, or magic as some of the fans are already calling him, is certainly an exciting player to watch. His pace and ability to beat a man is frightening and we hope to see much more of the Portuguese winger in weeks to come.

We hope that you enjoy this evening’s match and have a safe journey home afterwards.
