The newly-moulded centre-back has been outstanding throughout the Brewers' debut campaign in the Evo-Stik First Division North and thoroughly deserves the accolades.

Barrett featured more than any other player making 48 appearances for the club scoring three goals, missing just five games all season, a terrific return.

The defender has improved immensely this year going from a tricky winger to a strong and powerful centre-half. His loyalty and attitude on and off the field has been a true credit to the football club.

"He's been tremendous" said TAFC boss Billy Miller.

"He's honest, hard-working, never misses training and his development as a footballer has only just begun.

The challenge for Josh now is to see just how far he can actually take it and hopefully that'll be with Taddy."

Conor Sellars and Michael Ingham came in second and third place for the Supporters Player of the Year with Sellars and Tom Corner rounding off the top three of the Players' Player vote.
