We are delighted to announce that Aiden Savory has committed to the club for the 2018/19 season.

The versatile striker featured more than any other player last season, 47 times to be exact, 44 of which being starts. Savory also finished his first campaign with the Brewers as top goalscorer with 13.

The former Farsley Celtic man quickly became a fans favourite with the Taddy faithful for his outstanding work-rate and sheer determination week in week out. The vastly experienced non-league player also finished top of the pile in terms of assists recording 15 for the season, a very good return.

“I’m buzzing to re-sign with Taddy” stated Savory.

“It was a no brainer for me once I’d spoken with Mikey & Si and they expressed they wanted me to stay.”

“It’s a great club with real potential and the set-up is fantastic so for me my desire was always to stay at Taddy.”

“Next season the goal will be to build on what we did last season and go one better and achieve promotion.”

“It will be a difficult league next season and we will have to work hard but with the gaffers in charge and the squad they are putting together it’s looking exciting.”

Tadcaster boss Michael Morton spoke highly of the forward when discussing the news.

“Myself and Simon are thrilled are delighted to secure the services of Savs for another year. His endeavour and work-rate is phenomenal but on top of that, he’s fantastic off the pitch too and in the changing room with the young lads also.”

Welcome back, Savs!
