The young midfielder joined the Brewers in January and went on to make nineteen appearances in the final four months of the season scoring three goals and recording five assists.

Whitehouse quickly became a favourite amongst the terraces for his tricky and direct wing-play and the news that the Doncaster-based player has agreed to stay for the 2018/19 season is terrific news for all at the club.

“I am very happy to be staying at Tadcaster” stated Whitehouse.

“It’s a great club and I’ve loved my time here. I am really enjoying my football and I feel like I am developing as a player and I want to play at the highest level I can.”

“Hopefully that will be with Tadcaster and looking ahead to next season promotion is the only thing on our minds. I can’t wait to get going again.”

Assistant manager Simon Collins expressed his delight with getting the deal done: “We are pleased that Billy has decided to stay with us at Taddy, he’s been brilliant in such a short space of time and he’s only going to go from strength to strength.”
