The experienced defender made 34 appearances in the club’s play-off chase last season, 25 of which being starts.
“I’m looking forward to my fourth consecutive season at Tadcaster” said Mycoe who won Fans Player of the Season in the club’s NCEL promotion winning campaign in 2015/16.
“It’s a brilliant club to be at, everyone involved is professional, ambitious and the fans are great so it was an easy decision to commit for another year.”
It’s no secret that Mycoe has struggled with fitness over the past couple of years after suffering a career threatening knee injury but he is keen to keep contributing.
“Mikey and Si have made some great signings ahead of this year as well as retaining the majority of the squad that finished last season so strong so that’s certainly a positive.”
“I think we were fortunate to make the play-offs last season after a poor start but I’m confident we can build on last year’s end to the season and be serious contenders for a promotion place come next April.”
Mycoe missed Tuesday night’s pre-season friendly at Selby Town through injury but the versatile defender is hoping to be fit for Saturday’s visit of Farsley Celtic.
