We are delighted to announce that Jason Mycoe has agreed to stay at the club for the 2017/18 season.

The tough-tackling midfielder becomes the sixth player from last season to commit to the club joining Michael Ingham, Andy Milne, Josh Barrett, Conor Sellars and Tom Corner.

Mycoe made 35 appearances last campaign despite picking up a knee problem at the back end of the season.

“I’m delighted to be involved with Tadcaster for another season” said Mycoe.

“I’m looking forward to meeting the new squad of players and working with Mikey & Si.”

“I hope I can make a positive contribution to what I am sure will be a successful season for the club.”

Jason is also capable of scoring the odd screamer as we have seen at Staveley and more recently at Ossett Town last season.

“As a team we are delighted that Jason has committed to another season” said manager Michael Morton.

“We have known Jason since his Leeds United days so we know what he brings to the table.”

“Jason is a versatile player who can play right across the back four or sit in as a defensive midfielder.”
