We can confirm that Simon Collins has stepped down from his role as first-team manager at Tadcaster Albion AFC.

As the dust settles on another campaign, Simon has made the decision to concentrate solely on his work with i2i as well as his part-time position at Leeds United.

Simon stepped up to the plate after previous manager Michael Morton accepted a full-time job with Leeds United at the beginning of the 2018/19 season and his efforts have been tremendous throughout.

Michael and Simon guided the Brewers to a first ever Evo-Stik play-off place in their first season narrowly losing 2-1 at Bamber Bridge. Simon, who has always stated that he has no desire to be the main man at the helm, took the challenge on and actually finished one place higher this season alongside first-team coach Nathan Kilby.

The TAFC Directors would like to express their sincere thanks to Simon for his superb work over the past two years and wish him the very best of luck for the future.

Stay tuned for a full and exclusive interview with Simon.
