BREAKING NEWS: Guess Who’s Back…
Fans favourite Carl Stewart is a Tadcaster Albion player once again after re-joining from rivals Scarborough Athletic.
After putting seven days in for the player and meeting on Monday evening, both parties have come to an agreement and Stewart is a Brewer once again.
Stewart is a favourite with the Taddy fans, especially the Acomb TSC who I'm sure will be delighted to see him back.
Stewart is now back to full fitness and this is evident as he is currently the third top scorer in the Evo-Stik Division One North with eleven goals so far this season.
Stewart was injured for the vast majority of last season but did end the campaign with a very respectable eight goals and eight assists, including an incredible thirty yard volley against Athersley on the last day.
The 2011/12 and 2013/14 top goalscorer returns to add further attacking pedigree to Taddy’s front line and goes straight into the squad for tomorrow night's match against Trafford.
